Fruit Salad - Filipino Dessert

FRUIT  SALAD





Ingredients
Fresh Strawberries
Blueberries
Blackberries
Slice fresh Apple dip in lemon juice
Fresh Grapes
1 can Del Monte fruit cocktail ( 24 0z)
1 can cream style corn ( 15 oz)
1 can Nestle cream
1  half pint of Heavy whipping cream
1 can condense milk
1 can or fresh  Pineapple chunks

  Instructions,
1. Wash all the  Fresh fruits and drain.
2. Slice the Strawberries in half.
3. Slice the fresh Apples and dip to lemon juice ( so it wont discolorized )
4. Strain the 1 can of Del Monte fruit cocktail.
5. Put all  the ingredients together in a large mix bowl and mix it .
6.  Chill and serve . 
7. Good for dessert or afternoon snack.

PANDESAL  RECIPE









PANDESAL
INGREDIENTS:

·         4  cups all purpose flour ( I used Gold Medal Brand Unbleached)
·         1 tsp baking powder
·         1/2 cup sugar 
·         1 tsp salt
·         1 pouch rapid rise yeast
·         1 egg
·         1 1/2 cup milk
·         4 1/2 tbsp butter (melted)
·         1 tbsp vegetable oil
·         bread crumbs for coating

INSTRUCTIONS
  • Dissolve yeast and sugar in warm milk  .Stir to dissolve and let stand for 8- 10 minutes. Set aside. 
  • In a large bowl, combine all purpose flour, sugar, baking powder & salt. Sifted.
  • Add the egg, vegetable oil, melted  butter, and yeast mixture.  Continue mixing until a dough is formed. 
  • Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 10 minutes or until dough is smooth & elastic. 
  • Transfer the dough to a lightly oiled bowl, cover with a damp cloth and let it rise in a warm place for at least an hour.
  • After rising, transfer the dough onto a lightly floured surface. 
  • Use a dough slice or butter knif  to divide the dough into 2 equal parts.
  • Roll each part until it forms into a log or cylindrical shape. Cut each log into equal pieces.
  • Coat each sliced dough with bread crumbs and place flat side down in a baking tray with wax paper or into a lightly greased baking tray.
  • Cover the tray with a damp cloth and let it rise for 20 minutes.
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Bake for 20  minutes or until it turns to golden brown.
  • Serve hot. Enjoy!
